Adopt-A-Street

The City of Folsom is looking for service organizations or other interested parties to help us maintain the quality of our great community.  The Adopt-A-Street program is a great opportunity to help keep our City clean and gain a little recognition for your company or organization.  It is a program where schools, local businesses, civic groups, or organizations volunteer to pick up litter and/or perform weed abatement on City streets or in public parking lots, or along the rail corridor.

The area adopted can be as large as you would like, but no less than 0.5 miles.  Volunteers are encouraged to pick up litter or pull weeds as often as possible, but are required to do so at least once every two months. The City will provide trash bags and disposal of filled bags.

Adopt A Street Map

To acknowledge a volunteer’s contribution to the Adopt-A-Street Program, the City will install and maintain a sign at each end of the adopted area bearing the name of the sponsoring organization.  Volunteers will also receive a Certificate of Participation from the City of Folsom.

The Adopt-A-Street Program is a proven success. It has boosted pride in our City and Improved the environment for residents and visitors. Anyone Interested in this worthwhile program can contact:
